Walk-a-thons for Leukemia, Heart fundraising October 2 It’s walk-a-thon season and two local groups are planning fundraising events this weekend. The first is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which will have its event Saturday at Nyack Memorial Park. More than 600 people are expected. The group’s hero of the Rockland walk is Amy Dave of Valley Cottage, who survived B-cell lymphoma and is active in the organization. Dave also works as a physician’s assistant in a radiation oncology practic
