July 16th, 2009 Goto commentsLeave a comment The American Society of Clinical Oncology recently reported favorable results of a Phase 2 therapeutic trial of a vaccine called Prostvac-VF in the treatment of men with metastatic hormone-refractory prostate cancer. Men who received the vaccine had a median overall survival that was 8.5 months longer than the placebo group. Note that this data will need to be verified in Phase 3 trials. Uncategorized
